Description:Shop Repurpose is a nonprofit organization that utilizes the resale of luxury items to provide job readiness training, workforce development opportunities, and scholarships in the fashion and design industries, while also providing conscious-minded communities the opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable world.
The Shop Repurpose style team is responsible for engaging with clients via email, text, and social media to sell pre-loved luxury pieces that meed the needs of each individual client. The style team works closely with the operations team to help with pricing and merchandising, as-well as the marketing team to style looks for social media content.
Requirements:We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, customer engagement skills, an interest in pre-loved clothing, and a willingness to learn. At Repurpose we believe in the power of self-actualization and mentorship to aid in professional development. Our Workforce Development Program, RENEW, is designed to give interns and volunteers the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and foster genuine connections that will support further career growth.
Responsibilities:- Email clients on a weekly basis to keep them updated with new arrivals and seaonal looks
- Create lookbooks for clients based on their purchase history and needs
- Meeting with clients for editing, styling, and shopping
- Research fashion trends
- Support Ops team with the research of resale value on incoming donation items and price them appropriately
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure there is consistency among POS system
- Manage e-commerce collections and curate collections for upcoming seasons
- Maintain a clean and organized office space
- Support Ops team in managing accounts on third-party selling platforms, such as Poshmark and Thred Up
- Adapt to the needs of the organization on a weekly basis and support other teams, such as social media and marketing, when needed
