Prabal Gurung, LLC is looking for Womenswear Fashion Design Internship
The womenswear design team at Prabal Gurung is looking for a fashion design intern to assist with the upcoming Pre Fall and Fall 20 collections starting immediately from September 2019. This is a unique hands-on opportunity to work closely with a small design team. Candidates must submit a resume and portfolio. Candidates must commit to a minimum of 3 days per week, and at least 2 of the days are consecutive.
- Proficient in Photoshop/Illustrator. Print design and graphic design experiences preferred.
- Must be comfortable with layout and digital language
-Eye for detail and color
- Strong visual research skills
- Strong illustration skills
- Must be organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills
- Commitment and enthusiasm a must
- Maintaining and updating design boards and files
- Technical flat sketching
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop work
- Assisting with tech packs
-Visiting local factories and working with pattern/drape/construction
- Oversees aesthetic development of graphic, trim, and textile design
- Ensure that we have complete tech packs for every style including fabric, trim, details, etc
-CADS and colorways, print and embroidery development
This internship is unpaid.
