This internship is unpaid.
We are a small artisanal design house producing two collections a year. We do everything in-house from sketching, draping, flat patterning, cutting, and sample production.

Sewing skills required. The ideal candidate will have intermediate to advanced sewing skills and will have a keen interest in fashion and pay great attention to detail.
Responsibilities:The position can involve any and all aspects of working with the designer in a (small!) workroom to create the samples. Tasks would include sourcing and pricing of fabrics, notions and trims, organizing and cataloging workroom supplies, cutting out patterns, simple garment construction, and sewing sequins or beads on finished samples.
To be considered you MUST provide a link to your portfolio showing garments you've constructed.
