At this internship you will learn the evening wear life cycle and see the entire design process. You will be assisting with embroidery lay out designs, learn hand sewing techniques, and assist the design team daily. Communication with local vendors and photoshoot assisting are just a few of the excited tasks of this internship.
Requirements:Pamella Roland is a High End Eveningwear Fashion Company looking for a paid intern to assist the Design Team. We are looking for someone who is creatively driven, punctual and very organized. A knowledge of embroidery/beading layouts is preferred but not required. Must be proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator. We are looking for someone to start ASAP and able to work from Wednesday-Friday. This position is in person only, no option for remote.
Responsibilities:- Assist with embroidery/beading layouts
-Assist Design Team as needed
-Hand sewing, sewing trials, special projects for runway/ photoshoots
-Updating and organizing inspiration/concept board
-Assist with local sourcing, fabrics, trims, etc.
-Trend research
