Michelle Yom Design Studio is looking for Knitwear Intern
Michelle Yom Design Studio works with a variety of contemporary and luxury customers to create a knitwear collection from start to finish. Interns will have the opportunity to see how a collection is created, and get hands-on experience.
Must be eager to learn, detail oriented, accurate, creative and able to think outside of the box. Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office skills and hand sketching skills a must. Must have basic pattern drafting skills and understand garment construction. Ability to read spec sheets and hand knitting skills a plus. Does not need knitwear background, but must be willing to learn and able to retain large amounts of data and information.
Specing garments, flat sketching, yarn sourcing, pattern layout drafting, office duties such as filing, emails and shipping parcels.
This internship is paid.
