This internship is unpaid.
The Independent Project is a multi-brand design studio based in New York City. We work with brands that need the outside support of a design and technical staff to develop their brand. The internship will be focused in design, development, and production. Internship projects to be overseen by senior team members. We work in men's and women's markets.
Requirements:Fashion school or recent graduates only.

Responsibilities will depend on background, but could include:
Sketching, design, spec-ing, sourcing materials, light pattern-making tasks, visiting fabric showrooms, meeting with vendors, attending fittings, preparing sample and production packages, meeting with local factories.
