We're looking to fill an internship ASAP with someone who is even more web savvy than they are fashion savvy. If you are interested in media and fashion, this may be the position for you.

The majority of the internship would be spent helping us with tech support and using social networking sites to promote WWD.com and broaden our base online. This may include updating the WWD YouTube page with recent editorial videos, regularly posting links to WWD articles on Facebook/Twitter and researching new ideas to drive web traffic to our site. Ideally, you would be comfortable keeping our facebook page active. Must show proof of social media writing skills. Please send us a link to any blogs or Twitter accounts that you are currently active on.

You may also be asked to help with a number of other things including ad operations, search engine marketing and customer service.

Through this internship, you will gain a thorough understanding of online publishing and gain valuable social networking skills.

Internship stipend is $12 per day.


Requirements:

-Currently enrolled as a student and *can provide letter of college credit from your school*

-Can work at our office in New York Monday-Thursday 5 hours per day (between office hours of 9-5)

-Can intern during the Spring semester (Jan-May/June)

-Some experience working in Photoshop and Excel

-Has experience with and interested in social networking on websites (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc). Please send us a link to any blogs or Twitter accounts that you are currently active on.
