We are currently hiring for Interns to join us in our corporate offices in Los Angeles, CA! All internships are based in our corporate headquarters unless otherwise noted).

All intern applicants must be eligible for school credit and must be in good academic standing.

APPAREL DESIGN INTERN – BCBG / HERVE LEGER / MAX&CLEO / RUNWAY
Responsibilities Include:
•Complete garment layouts
•Prepare samples for merchandising meetings, fittings and presentations
•Assist at photo shoots
•Organizational tasks
•Assist Design Associates with day-to-day tasks
The Design Teams seeking interns are:

Qualifications:
•Enrolled in design program/school; Understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
•Must have a profound interest for BCBG and fashion
•Must be a team player, self-starter and detail-oriented
•Basic Knowledge in MS Office


APPAREL DESIGN INTERN- BCBGeneration
Responsibilities Include:
•Assist in the organization of fabrics and pantones
•Archiving samples in the sample closet
•Work with color cards
•Send out fabrics to dye
•Assist with tech packs
The BCBGeneration Design Teams seeking interns are:

Qualifications:
•Enrolled in design program/school; Understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
•Must have a profound interest for BCBGeneration and fashion;
•Must be a team player, self-starter and detail-oriented

APPAREL DESIGN INTERN - Manoukian
Responsibilities Include:
•Aid with color, color cards and organization of color
•Assist with fabrics and fabric swatches
•Work on trim, trim ordering and organization
•Assembles presentation boards
•Fabric, trim, trend research
•Flat sketching
•Assemble and organize presentation binder
•Will learn to translate of Sr. Designers sketches from hand to computer sketches

Minimum Qualifications:
•Enrolled in design program/school
•Must be working towards a Bachelor degree
•Must be a team player with a great sense of urgency
•Must be detail-oriented and very organized
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CS3 including Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Excel is a plus

APPAREL/TEXTILES DESIGN INTERN
Responsibilities Include:
•Organization/maintenance of Strike Off Library
•Assist Textile Design Department and Color Dept. in various tasks
•Assist Coordinator team/updating print reports
•Assist Textile Design Team with entry level CAD and possible hand dyeing projects
Qualifications:
•Must be enrolled in design program/school
•Mac and PC literate; Familiar with Adobe & Microsoft Suites


ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN INTERN
Responsibilities Include:
•Assist in the preparations of design concepts for stores
•Assist designers with store design, planning, and presentations
•Help with Color and Material Boards for each brand
•Research new materials for use in the stores & latest design trends and materials
•Prepare material boards, help with layouts, fixture design, and overall conception for projects
•Organize and maintain material library, digital library, and shared drives
•Call material representatives, arrange meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
•Knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch-Up is desired
•Ability to multi task and work in a team oriented environment
•Strong sense of organization and teamwork, as well as be self-motivated and independent is recommended


BCBG DESIGN INTERN - ACCESSORIES
Responsibilities Include:
•Create and maintain presentation boards
•Photograph and archive samples
•Assist Designer with sample development process
•Organize sample library
•Assist Design Associates with day-to-day tasks
Qualifications:
•Must be enrolled in design program/school
•Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
•Team player and eager to learn


BCBG DESIGN INTERN - HANDBAGS
Responsibilities Include:
Main function is to provide support to the BCBG Handbags Team by assisting designers through line development for each season from initial concept designs to final sample presentation:
•Mock up sample through the usage of Photoshop to CAD developments
•Input styles into Web PDM
•Manage incoming and outgoing samples
•Maintenance of the hardware and sample library
•Assist Designers with various daily duties
Qualifications:
•Must be enrolled in design program/school
•Intermediate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
•Strong organizational skills, team player, resourceful, creative, sense of urgency


BCBG DESIGN INTERN - JEWELRY
Responsibilities Include:
•Maintain design boards
•Computer flat sketching
•Organize sample library
•Assist Designer with sample development process
•Sketching
•Assist Designer Associates with day-to-day tasks

Qualifications:
•Must be enrolled in design program/school
•Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
•Good design aesthetic
•Jewelry design background a plus


FABRIC R&D INTERN
Responsibilities Include:
•Assist the Fabric Research and Development team through creating and maintaining fabric hand standards
•Manage fabric headers for design meetings
•Compose and update fabric boards
•Assist in the maintenance of the fabric library

Qualifications:
•Preferably enrolled in fashion design or production courses
•Basic knowledge of fabrics is preferred
•Intermediate experience with Excel
•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
•Highly organized and deadline-oriented with ability to prioritize


GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN - BCBGeneration
Responsibilities Include:
•Working on creative briefs on projects for print, web, and apparel.
•Assisting creative team in visual research
•Assisting team to prepare presentations whenever necessary
•Contributing to creative brainstorm sessions with ideas
•If intern has special interests, such as video editing or illustration, we will try to find projects that will help further them.

Qualifications:
•Concentration in Graphic Design; Proficiency in Adobe, In-Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop
•Must have awareness of visual trends, organized, detail and deadline-oriented with ability to prioritize
•Ability to take direction and provide feedback to team; Ability to work independently on small projects
•Experience working with computer design programs; Eager to learn and grow in graphic design


GRAPHIC DESIGN – CREATIVE SERVICES & PRINT PRODUCTION
Responsibilities Include:
•Assist in day to day creative service’s work order request.
•Work creatively on packaging, brand banners and print advertisements.
•Archive collateral and support in collateral distribution
•Assist in creating board mock ups, various projects such as catalogs, brand research, ad campaigns, and corporate initiatives; Support graphic designers and/or print production team with any other assistance

Qualifications:
•Must have Typography and Graphic Design skills
•Proficiency in Creative Suite: Photoshop, In-Design, MS Office Suite
•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
•Highly organized, detail and deadline-oriented with ability to prioritize
•Ability to multi-task in a team-oriented environment and think outside the box
•Ability to interface with all levels of management
