Fashion Friday: Statement

A statement piece is not limited to bags, belts, or bracelets. The true fashionista possesses the bold gusto to make a statement through the majority of cloth encompassing his or her body. The anti-norm? Pants! Incorporating a printed pant radiates confidence in one’s uniqueness. Paired with docile counterparts, the look becomes admirable as opposed to over-done.

Fashion Friday: Pumpkin Spice

Fall is the season of deep shades of orange. From an amalgamation of warm-colored leaves splattered on the sidewalk to smooth, pumpkin syrup in your basic Starbucks latte, orange is everywhere. Except maybe in your wardrobe.. But there’s no reason to stray from this season’s staple! Paired with dark shades and varying tones, orange is code for awesome.

Fashion Fridays: Black & White

In fashion, opposites do indeed attract. Especially when it comes to shades of hue. The iconic opponents: black and white. While the two colors could not be more polar opposite, blended together, the amalgamation makes a sharp, timeless look. Sporting two colors seems boring, right? No way! The color limitation allows for a variety of patterns and prints to seamlessly blend. Incorporating a little Moschino never hurts, too.

Fashion Friday: Printed

The best part Fall? Prints! Warm prints, dark prints, animal prints; prints, prints, prints! Of course, mixing prints is an intimidating process. The secret – just go for it! A safe way to incorporate prints into your work wardrobe is to pick two or three staple pieces that have a similar color combination.

Fashion Friday: Over and Above

As the Fall season scatters a brisk of autumn leaves across the sidewalks of the streets, it’s time to update our wardrobes from tanks and tees to cashmere and clutches. One of our favorite shopping sites, Net-a-Porter, shared a sophisticated look, Over and Above, that’s perfect for looking professional and poised while remaining practical for the weather.

Fashion Friday: Fall into Fall

The birth of a new Fall means the rebirth of chunky knits and smooth leathers from the back of our closets. Too casual for the office right? Not necessarily! Pairing an over-sized knit sweater over a pencil skirt is a great way to incorporate that comfy cozy feel that goes perfectly with Pumpkin Spice Lattes. And let leather be your best friend. It’s chic just in its shine.
