Breaking News: Jean Paul Gaultier x Target

I’m starting to feel like Target Designer Collaborations are all I’m writing about these days, but I nearly lost it when I heard this little nugget.

“The American retailer has announced that Gaultier will be the third in its series of Designer Collaborations, following on from Alexander McQueen and Anna Sui. The line will be separate from Target’s Go International initiative.

Known for his dramatic creations and producing costumes for Madonna in the ’90s and Kylie Minogue in the noughties, the French designer may even get his own special Target pop-up store, although this is yet to be confirmed.

The Jean Paul Gaultier for Target collection will debut in the US on 7th March 2010 in over 250 stores and via target.com.” -courtesy of CatwalkQueen.tv

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m already mentally preparing myself for this one. I’m ready to see JPG go crazy on Target, and never look back. What are your thoughts? Are you over designer collaborations?

I think designer collaborations are great esp when they are done well. It gives the average fashionista the op to own something designer without paying an arm and as leg and then starving for the rest of the month lol. Love Target!
