Seventh House PR, a leading fashion showroom and PR agency, is seeking passionate interns who are interested in gaining hands-on experience during this upcoming New York Fashion Week. Interns will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks surrounding several Fashion Week events, and will be involved with all aspects of event production. We are looking for interns who can take direction, are motivated self-starters, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in an exciting, fast-paced environment. Interns should be able to start ASAP and continue for three months, and must be able to commit to interning 3 full days per week at the minimum in addition to some weekends and late nights. Although this internship is a big commitment, our interns always agree that the experience is well worth the hard work once they are under the tents watching a runway show they helped create!

Responsibilities:
•You will assist senior management with the daily business activities of running a fashion 2.0 eCommerce website. You will be reporting directly to the CEO and President of the Company.

Key tasks include:

* Upload content to the Wordpress CMS.
* Answer customer service, vendor, and press inquiries
* Liaise with vendors to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of product orders and shipments
* Attend buyer meetings and trade shows with senior management
* Assist with the order fulfillment process
* Maintain various documents, presentations and spreadsheets as needed

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to break into the fashion industry an get significant amount of responsibility in a number of areas within the ecommerce space at a young age. Potential for a full time position after internship completion.
Qualifications:
You need to be:
•Detail oriented
•Quick learner
•Creative – can bring new ideas to the table
•Positive attitude and enthusiastic to learn and try new things
•Passion for the retail/fashion world
•Internet savvy.
•Preferred not required – eCommerce experience or exposure through school/classwork.
•Preferred not required – buying/merchandising/operations experience or some exposure through school/classwork.
•Must have experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Also - Photoshop / Illustrator capabilities are a plus, and any experience working with Wordpress is helpful.

Note: This opportunity is in Manhattan, however, there is an opportunity for many duties to be performed remotely.

JOB DESCRIPTION
